Go Retro

It's been raining the past few weeks. And since we usually take our outfit photos early in the morning, we end up having darker skies and gloomy background. Constant rain makes it difficult to find a suitable spot to take photos too, and so we revisited one of the best spots we used with my previous blog entry ( Street Goddess ) . We though that its vibrant color will bring life and register well with this kind of weather. And we weren't wrong! The mural is now completed. Every bit of detail is remarkable. We totally loved the outcome of these shots and we hope you do the same.

Color up your style and turn a gloomy day into something vibrant. Hyper orange coat - why not? Stay in style while staying warm. This literally caught my eye as I shop along Fashion Market. The printed vintage scarf made it classy and refined the overall look. Makes me think of the 80's music videos I see in MTV classics.

Gold blends perfectly well with any given outfit. Since we're talking about classics, I remember seeing similar accessories worn by the likes of Run DMC. The only difference is they wore it around their neck. Talk about bling bling baby!

Got myself a new brown bag. Just the perfect size to carry my usual stuff. And of course, comfort shouldn't be taken for granted. I decided to wear these pair of black ballet shoes to make the walking as easy as the breeze.

Now let's move on to his side. Here he's wearing a plaid black and white skinny coat over a white printed shirt and blue chinos. Gray oxfords were from Milanos. For those men who have the dilemma of wearing formal outfit for work, this is the right style for you. Pretty laid back but still retains the essence of being normal.

Vintage watches play a big role in today's fashion trend. And for men, who prefers vintage, this is the watch for you.

Hope you guys like it. Excited for the weekend, how 'bout you guys? :)

Walk the walk

BGC redefines its community by promoting walking as the best option to move around the city. This is not only to enjoy its great urban sceneries but also to take advantage of its benefits. Burn calories and clear your mind! These are just a few of their reminders posted every block. Preventing heart disease, managing blood pressure and diabetes, strengthening your muscles and bones, and improving your overall body and state of mind - who doesn't want that? Physical activity doesn't need to be strenuous and complicated. A simple walk can be your starting point towards a healthy lifestyle!

Lucky for us, we both work within BGC. And as our shift ends, we always find time to relax, talk about how each other's day went through, and stroll around the vicinity. And so we decided to capture the moment and share it with you guys.

***

I'm fond of wearing dresses. Trying different colors and various ensembles, and infusing my own style to fit my taste and mood. I don't want to look too formal that day so I opted to wear a simple striped dress, covered with this edgy looking jacket. And If I say edgy I do mean edgy.

Finishing the look with these spiked open toe shoes, and studded leather bag - both are from Parisian.

Now this is Joseph's everyday office look: chinos + shirt + cardigan. This formula literally saves his time to make up whenever he's running late for work. He's wearing a plain inner shirt, topped with a tri-color cardigan , and maroon chinos. Gray oxfords from Milanos and an old school calculator watch from Casio.

It was a beautiful day indeed. Walking around BGC is just so relaxing and refreshing. ♥

Hope you guys like it. Have a great week ahead. :)

Perfect Match

We seldom wear matching outfits. But when we do, it's by chance most of the time. Proof that we share the same fashion sense and style. We just celebrated our monthsary last Friday, same day we shoot these photos along the Turf at BGC. It was a day spent well, and one thing that made it extra special is that we showed up wearing these very similar outfit at the office.

Friday means we can be laid back and stray away from our usual office outfits. We share the same interest with chinos. They are probably the easiest pair of pants to wear when you have a little time to prep up. They come in various color and can be worn into different styles.

Here we matched our chinos with denim jackets. This fashion garment just never gets old. I even prefer worn out denims over new ones. Like wine, they simply look better as they age. True classic that one should always have in their closet.

I'm wearing a printed cropped top to balance the overall look. Got this from Fashion Market for a steal.

I wanted to keep it simple yet chic with my accessories. I'm wearing my black and gold leopard watch from Baby G. Cross necklace and ring from FOREVER21. Studded bag that I got from Parisian that virtually matches any given outfit. If you've been following my blog, you know that I'm a sucker for anything that's studded.

This is where it gets a lil bit exciting. He's wearing a tank top I got him from Fashion Market too. He just can't say no to anything that have a touch of pink. And remember these boots? Told y'all be seeing a lot of him wearing these classic booties from Milanos.

He's not fond of wearing accessories other than watches. Here he's wearing his white G Shock from their GA-110 series. If you're eyeing for a watch that is not too small yet not too big, a combination of analog and digital display, highly fashionable and can easily blend with your outfits, and is proven to be tough and withstand daily beating, then this is the watch for you.

It's our 41 months of being together. Cheers to forever Mr. Tattoography. :)
Hope you guys like this post. Spread the love. :)
