Black Peplum

Guess who’s back! Work has been pretty hectic the past few weeks. I know I’m still at the learning and adjusting stage, but I wouldn’t miss the chance to do my thing here at my blog every now and then.

So to keep the ball rolling, I'm gonna start with the basics. Here, I'm wearing a black peplum top paired with denim jeans and brown wedges from Primadonna. Perfectly simple for a chic workwear look.

Flattering and chic - that's my own definition for peplum tops. You can even pair it with white shorts and simple flats. I opted to wear my wooden platform wedges from Primadonna to complete this look. Perfect match, right?

And of course, my look wouldn't be complete without accessories. Wearing my gold Casio Data Bank Watch and Tory Burch bracelet. Finished it up with this simple black necklace. Black bag from Parisian to match with my top. There you go, a casual workwear look. :)

Hope you guys like it. Have a great week ahead :)

A little place called Sevastra

Hi guys! Sorry for keeping you waiting for my next blog post. I know it's been a while since my last one. I've been a bit busy with my new task at work, but I'm gonna make sure to update you guys with the latest trends and of course, my adventures.

Summer is finally here! Though it took a while for summer heat to kick in, it surely brought a handful now and I'm starting to miss the cold days. So first off, we all need to get our wardrobe ready with the sun and summer escapades. That means light, colorful and summery outfits and trendy swimmies.

Good thing my workplace is literally inside a mall. It gives me ample time to browse along different shops at any given moment. One of my favorite spot in Market Market is Fashion Market. It's a bizarre of wonders complete with various options with anyone's fashion needs. So today let me share one of my favorite places to shop. And it's a little shop called Sevastra.

It may be small but it's definitely full of surprises. Carrying the latest trends downright to your summer needs. Oh, and did I mention very reasonable and affordable prices.

What I love about this place is their personalized service making every customer special in their own way. They encourage you to post and tag them with you OOTD shots wearing their merchandise, and you'll surely secure a spot on this wall. Isn't that cool?

So there you have it. For more fab pieces, please log on to Sevastra Shop or follow their Instagram account, click here. :)

Unbreakable

That is the exact idea of Kikuo Ibe, the father of G-Shock when he created the timepiece that revolutionized the watch industry. 30 years and hundreds of models later, here they are still catering to fanciers around the globe who chose to go with a watch that's not only unbreakable, but also  multi-functional and always up for the latest trend in fashion and style. It's been our pleasure to meet the father himself a couple of weeks back in an intimate meet and greet at Seda Hotel. An afternoon well spent with fellow G-Shock lovers and collectors alike.

When asked what specs would he like to add to the ever-changing world of G'S, Kikuo mentioned of adding a feature that will let a G-Shock and Baby G wearer know their feelings for each other thru a series of beeps. Now that's something to look forward to in the future!

And of course, we wouldn't miss the chance to have our favorite G's and 30th aniversary book sihned by the Father himself.

I'm wearing my vintage inspired pencil cut skirt from Sevastra Shop. The classical print made the skirt so fashionable. With a statement piece like this, it's best to keep the top plain and simple and let the eccentric design speak for itself.  Bag from Parisian  and necklace form Forever 21.  And of course, I'm wearing my G-Shock GA 110 Hyper Pink watch to complete this look. Perfect for this event, isn't it? :)

Unbreakable piece, thanks to the Father of G!

Nonchalant Swag

Ever experienced a day when dressing up seems to be strenuous? A day when no outfit seems to go well with you? I bet we all did ( at least once in a while). That's why it's good to have outfit ideas that are good for any given occasion. Something you can easily wear that is safe, comfortable, yet still maintain your sense in fashion. Now here's our take for those pretty laid back days.

Denim jacket - a timeless piece that virtually matches anything. Both functional and fashionable. Adds structure to any given style, plus the benefits of being protected by a cold weather. Printed skirt - something that will add color and attitude to your overall getup. I chose to wear an Aztec inspired one, found this cutie at SM Department Store. And plain top - I always choose a piece that is comfortable and perfectly blends with any colors. Well for me, nothing beats the color black.

I'm wearing a pair of red flats from Tomato. Very chic and classic indeed. Bag is from Parisian. If you have been following and reading my blog, you know how much I love this brand. Stylish at a very affordable price. And completing this outfit with this highly fashionable Casio silver vintage watch. You all know how my outfit wouldn't be complete without one.

Now onto his side. A plain button down shirt never gets out of style. With proper styling, you can easily get the look you're aiming without exerting much effort. It all depends on what to add up. Here he paired it with a pair of denim jeans and trainers from Adidas to attain a minimalistic look. Crisp styling that is always on the go.

Completing the look with a versatile timepiece - G Shock it is! It's good to know that Casio is now incorporating a lot of new color with their watches to fill the need of their consumers. Way to go Casio!

Thank God it's Friday. Hope you guys like this one. :)
