Beach Bum

Nothin' beats spending a whole day loafing around the beach. Lucky for us, we had a chance to spend one long weekend along the magnificent shoreline of Patar Beach in Bolinao, Pangasinan. Our last attempt to end the summer of 2013 with a blast!

It was worth the long drive. The place truly hold treasures awaiting to be discovered. From the white sand beaches, to different enchanting caves surrounding the vicinity. The place lives to its moniker being the Treasure of Bolinao.

What I'm wearing - studded denim tie blouse, paired with denim ripped shorts. It was indeed a long drive so I need to wear something comfortable yet functional. What I love about this look is that you can already wear your two-piece along with it - ready to hit the beach at any given place and time.

I kept it modest on accessorizing the look. Gray and pink watch from G Shock, and an aztec inspired ring to match my multicolored sandals. And of course, a pair of wayfarers for eye protection.

It was a blast. I just wanna be on the beach again.
So what's your summer story? :)

Red is Love

Color is so powerful that it can reflect one's mood and can invoke emotions. It can help us present ourselves in a very positive way, or the other way around. Color combinations can either make us or break us. Knowing which colors work well can definitely help us dress up and save our hard earned pesos by proper mixing and matching.

The color of love and passion mixed with the color that represents darkness. Red and black has been a staple combination in the fashion trend.

A wardrobe wouldn't be complete without a good pair of black pants. Here I'm wearing a pair of skinny jeans - very versatile and can easily be matched with other colors.

Red dictates attention. And so is this top I'm wearing. I added some gold embellishments to make it more luxurious and sophisticated. I'm wearing my favorite Vintage Casio watch. Shoes are from Primadonna

I say keep it classy and sophisticated. You can never go wrong with red and black. Who doesn't love peplum? Peplum is a classic piece that would last more than one season. Hope you guys like it. :)

I'm off to the beach. Have a great weekend loves. :)

Sassy Chic

Inspired by figure skaters, I decided to play around and try skater skirts. Petite and skimpy, but definitely fashionable. Easy to pair with our wardrobe staples, a must-have indeed. And don't forget to mention, perfect for long and hot summer days.

I got this floral minis from Fashion Market. Stroll for a few minutes there and you'll surely bump with good finds after another. Matched with a classy white top - very simple and feminine, emphasizing the skirt's design and giving it a proper feel. Topping it all off with simple accessories to maintain the light feeling - vintage flats to make long walks an easy task, pink watch and necklace keep the ladylike look. And of course, a very dependable pair of sunglasses during this summer season. Got mine from Vanity and fashion. You can visit their page here.

Summer's almost over but I still have a few things on my to-do list. We can't do much about the summer heat, might as well enjoy it while its here. :)

Dangerously Stylish

AKA the Bad Girl look. There's always a time when wearing a dress or simply being girly feels drudging. It's  good to dress outside your norm every once in awhile. Keep those skirts and doll shoes in the closet for the mean time.Dress up strong and look tough, yet maintaining your feminine side.

I'm wearing a white V neck tee, paired with black denim jeans and jacket. This shows the versatility of a white tee. You can easily wear and match it on any given getup. A real must have in one's wardrobe. The black jacket just nailed what I have in mind -  a Rockstar chic inspired look.

I kept it simple in accessorizing this look. A mix of white and gold to lighten up my outfit. Long necklace to make use of the open space on my white tee, matching bracelets to add effect, and my LOV-10A Baby G from Casio's Lover's Collection.

Remember these pair of floral boots? Yep, these are the same boots from my previous blog entry. I'm still lookin' forward in featuring these on my future blog posts. These are proving to be very useful for me nowadays.

TGIF. Thank God It's Friday. Here's to a crazy weekend ahead. Hope you like it guys. :)

Go Aztec

History repeats itself. This is certainly true when it comes to fashion trends. Truth is, we usually end up wearing or at least adopting what our grandparents wore during their golden years, with a minor tweaks and tricks of our own of course.

And this goes the same even with Ancient fashion and tradition. Ancient Aztecs may be long gone, but their fashion is surely here to stay.

An array of colors and pattern blended in a very unique way. It's not hard to see a good Aztec-inspired outfit nowadays. It's becoming one of the most popular and staple trend this summer due to its vast color variation.

I'm wearing a modern day Aztec inspired top and denim shorts. Pink flats to match my overall look. Added some colorful accessories like these candy-like skull bracelet, gray and pink DW-6900 from G Shock, and of course, an Aztec inspired necklace. And look how cutie my phone is, don't you love it? :)

It's Saturday again, time to relax and have fun. Enjoy your weekends loves. :)
