Nonchalant Swag

Ever experienced a day when dressing up seems to be strenuous? A day when no outfit seems to go well with you? I bet we all did ( at least once in a while). That's why it's good to have outfit ideas that are good for any given occasion. Something you can easily wear that is safe, comfortable, yet still maintain your sense in fashion. Now here's our take for those pretty laid back days.

Denim jacket - a timeless piece that virtually matches anything. Both functional and fashionable. Adds structure to any given style, plus the benefits of being protected by a cold weather. Printed skirt - something that will add color and attitude to your overall getup. I chose to wear an Aztec inspired one, found this cutie at SM Department Store. And plain top - I always choose a piece that is comfortable and perfectly blends with any colors. Well for me, nothing beats the color black.

I'm wearing a pair of red flats from Tomato. Very chic and classic indeed. Bag is from Parisian. If you have been following and reading my blog, you know how much I love this brand. Stylish at a very affordable price. And completing this outfit with this highly fashionable Casio silver vintage watch. You all know how my outfit wouldn't be complete without one.

Now onto his side. A plain button down shirt never gets out of style. With proper styling, you can easily get the look you're aiming without exerting much effort. It all depends on what to add up. Here he paired it with a pair of denim jeans and trainers from Adidas to attain a minimalistic look. Crisp styling that is always on the go.

Completing the look with a versatile timepiece - G Shock it is! It's good to know that Casio is now incorporating a lot of new color with their watches to fill the need of their consumers. Way to go Casio!

Thank God it's Friday. Hope you guys like this one. :)

Street Connoisseur

January went too fast and we are now on the love month. Guess they're right by telling time really does fly. I know it's only our second post for the year - a bit slow than the usual, but we are still trying to manage what we can with our new responsibilities at work. Good thing BGC never gets tired of adding new artsy display. And so we used one of their new installations along High Street as our back drop.

Now off to what I'm wearing - black floral vintage jacket paired with black skater skirt. Looks like I'm wearing a dress right? I'm impressed with the very detailed lacing of this jacket. It's like black roses stitched together. This is one glam top that will surely be a good addition to anyone's closet.

Bag and shoes are from Parisian - definitely one of my favorite brand. This pointed ballet flats make this outfit very chic and stylish. I'm a firm believer that time is gold. That's why I always wear a gold vintage watch as a constant reminder. Blends perfectly well with this Tory Burch bracelet.

Since I wore the roses, he chose to wear the color - Red it is! This outfit is like uniform to him. Cardigan over a plain button down shirt and chino pants combo. This outfit makes him attain the need to look casual without being too formal. Easy to mix and  match with a guy's wardrobe usual. He chose to wear a red cardigan ( really in time for the love month I must say ), over a plain button down shirt. A pair of light colored chinos and highlighting the look with those red sole oxfords from Milanos. Pretty neat right?

It's the time of the year again, love month. Spread the love. ♥
