January went too fast and we are now on the love month. Guess they're right by telling time really does fly. I know it's only our second post for the year - a bit slow than the usual, but we are still trying to manage what we can with our new responsibilities at work. Good thing BGC never gets tired of adding new artsy display. And so we used one of their new installations along High Street as our back drop.

Now off to what I'm wearing - black floral vintage jacket paired with black skater skirt. Looks like I'm wearing a dress right? I'm impressed with the very detailed lacing of this jacket. It's like black roses stitched together. This is one glam top that will surely be a good addition to anyone's closet.

Bag and shoes are from Parisian - definitely one of my favorite brand. This pointed ballet flats make this outfit very chic and stylish. I'm a firm believer that time is gold. That's why I always wear a gold vintage watch as a constant reminder. Blends perfectly well with this Tory Burch bracelet.

Since I wore the roses, he chose to wear the color - Red it is! This outfit is like uniform to him. Cardigan over a plain button down shirt and chino pants combo. This outfit makes him attain the need to look casual without being too formal. Easy to mix and  match with a guy's wardrobe usual. He chose to wear a red cardigan ( really in time for the love month I must say ), over a plain button down shirt. A pair of light colored chinos and highlighting the look with those red sole oxfords from Milanos. Pretty neat right?

It's the time of the year again, love month. Spread the love. ♥

Birthday Blast

Yours truly just turned 23 last November 16th. 2013 has been a very good year to me. It's the same year I started this blog thingy, and I'm glad to what I have accomplished, shared and gained along the way - specially the people whom I've known thru blogging. Truly I have a lot to thank about. Indeed, it's been a year full of blessings and love.

We had a little celebration at Viking's - which we both consider as the best spot to spend your birthdays. Their free buffet birthday promo is a real steal! Just present a valid ID and tag one of your buddies and the celebrant get to eat for free. Now talk about a real birthday treat.

I chose to go with a simpler and carefree look that day. A cool white top over a black skirt and pair of ballets flats. Trendy, chic and flirty combined. What I love with these skirt is their ability to create an illusion of a slimmer hips and waistline. If you're the type that is aiming for that look, then its about time you get yourself one.

Kept my accessories and make up minimal with this gold vintage watch and bracelet combo and a red lippy - now this is my effortless take on the versatility of a skater skirt.

Now he chose to have his Rambo - look on! Camo shirt over a pair of white skinny jeans, and black leather boots. Traditionally utilized in the military, this print has gone along way and has been a staple street flavor. Edgy, masculine and never gets old.

Another year has gone by. We had a blast and he made it more special. Looking forward for another year loads of fun and infinite happiness. :)

Step Up

Ever had a dream that you almost forgot about? Something that you've been wanting to do, a place where you wanna go, a career that you wanna pursue, anything that at a certain point of your life became your dream. A life's mission placing you in a very hopeful state. But under certain circumstances you didn't had the chance to reach it. And so you hid it at the back of your mind, slowly fading away as new priorities arise and you continue to live your life.

And as you hold on to that idea in mind, have you ever thought of why did you stopped reaching for it and why haven't you continued? We may be consumed with our everyday routine, but we cant let that be a hindrance in aiming and getting our old dreams back. Time is so precious. And we don't spend precious things on nothing. My say on this? It's time for us to step up. Step up and don't be afraid to achieve your dreams. Don't settle on the photos you see over the internet. Don't settle on the stories you only hear or read. Don't settle on the idea that you can't. Embrace it. Experience it. Living life to the fullest doesn't mean doing a daily routine or following a life's user manual. Nothing is too small nor too big for a person who trust and believes in himself. It's never too late to start something. It's time to step up!

Stepping up means having the confidence to do so. And what better way to start it? With yourself of course. Feeling good with what and who you are is all that it takes. Dress up! Fashion is one thing we can use to help us build confidence. You dress right, you feel right.

Fashion doesn't need to be complicated nor extravagant. A simple outfit done right is all it takes. Here I'm wearing a plain black shirt paired with aztec inspired leggings pants. I just love it, very comfortable and fashionable. A few gold accessories to highlight the outfit.

Here's something our male readers out there can try. A long sleeved shirt over a pair of black skinny jeans, topped with ripped denim vest. Pretty straight forward and not complicated. Very easy to replicate and functional for both office and after-office activities.
