Everything is New

Hi guys! First blog of the year. Sorry for the late post. Been caught up by the holiday bug. But here we are, celebrating not only the coming of 2014, but also the 1st year of my blog! Yikes! It's been a year full of fun and new experiences. Don't you worry, we are working on a lot of new stuff for this year. Hope you guys like the new layout and color palette of our blog. Now enough with the talkies. Here's our very first OOTD for the year.

Here's my take to vintage-retro style. Denim jacket paired with a striped denim dress. Denim on denim it is! Nothing does the trick better than a classic cut jacket. So pull it out and put it on. It's one wardrobe essential good for any season. Got these outfit from the last Bloggers United 6. Good find indeed. With just a few tweaks and tricks and some mix and match prowess, and here you go. A whole new outfit that’s ready to go!

I'm wearing my stacked wingtips from Primadonna. I just love how they perfectly blend with any given outfit. Versatility and functionality - exactly what I'm looking for in any bag to match my outfits. And good thing I found one at Parisian Bags.

Gold vintage watches will never get out of style. Got this Casio Data Bank as a Christmas present. Paired it with my new Gold Tory Burch bracelet to have a more glamorous looking arm candy. And to top the vintage-retro inspired look, I wore this red bandanna. Pretty neat right?

**
The man who always fancy colorful outfits without compromising sophistication. Here he is rocking that aztec sweat shirt. He's been eyeing this sweat shirt for too long and I'm glad he got it now. Paired it with loose brown chinos, and a pair for leopard slip ons.

His outfit will never be complete without a G. Hyper pink from the GA-110 Series. Real eye candy don't you agree? :)

Everything is new and I'm totally loving it. And I hope you like it guys. Say hello to 2014. :)

xoxo,
KC

Bloggers United 6

Yep, it's the 6th installment of Bloggers United and our second time to attend the event. And yet again, we weren't disappointed ( and surely didn't leave empty-handed). For those who haven't been to Bloggers United, it's a bazaar led by top bloggers across the country held twice a year. Here you can see your favorite bloggers and personalities sell their pre-loved items at a very reasonable and sometimes steal price!

Interact and get to know fellow bloggers and style gurus. Shopping is made easier this year since they partnered with World Bazaar Festival. It was fun filled day indeed. And it was nice meeting my influences in starting my own blog. Here are some of my photos with them. Don't forget to check out their blog too.

Since Christmas is just around the corner, why not wear something inspired by the Yuletide season - bright red skater skirt and a warm + cottony top. I admit, I'm becoming a fan of skater skirts this season. Very fashionable and easy to style with. It's a piece of clothing that naturally blends with any personality, trend and style. Paired it with an oversized printed sweater and my shoes from Primadonna. The print on this top just made it extra special and stand out.

And of course, this outfit wouldn't be complete without a touch of gold. This Casio gold vintage watch has always been my favorite. Then add a simple necklace and studded bracelet to complete the look.

He anticipated a lot of walking that day so he chose something comfortable to wear. Mahogany casual shorts paired with a light blue button down shirt and a classical pair of boats shoes from Milanos. I just love how these colors compliment each other. Accentuating the look with this very fashionable and functional Aztec belt, and hyper blue watch from G-Shock's GA-110 series.

Can't wait for Bloggers United 7. Hope to see you guys there. :)

Stress Free

Work or school may sometime take their toll on us. Placing us in stressful situations, changing our attitude and mindset over things that surrounds us. But don't worry, its pretty normal. Its just a constant reminder that we are part of the human race. What matter is how you handle such situations and how you bounce back.

If you ever find yourself in such situation, stop, relax, and take a breather. Stop whatever you are doing that is giving you stress. Rushing things to meet the deadline wont help you achieve what you are aiming. Relax, give your body some time to recover. Take a nap, sip some coffee, give your face a lift by doing a simple smile. A dead tired body will bring you nowhere. Lastly, take a breather - its as simple as doing things that you love. Read a book, visit your favorite blog, you can even take a short walk in the park. You won't believe how these simple things can do to help you from having a stress free atmosphere.

So here we are strolling along one of the parks in BGC. It's good to have this kind of place within a busy city. It gives space for people to stay and enjoy the greenery after spending a whole day inside an office cubicle. I wore something casual yet easy and comfortable enough to do other stuff after office duties. Striped 3/4 sleeves for my top, and a pair of denim jeans. I matched it with my brown leather crochet belt and oxfords from Primadonna. Added some gold stuff for my accessories and my trusty graphite Longchamp bag to carry my things.

Getting bored of your usual pair of jeans? Then it's about time you get yourself a treat with colored chinos. These are one of the hottest trend for men nowadays. Not only that they look sexy, they also make a guy look more interesting. Now my guy's wearing his royal blue chinos, paired with a denim button down shirt. Gray oxford shoes from Milanos, and a yellow watch from G Shock.

These shoes are classic! You can easily wear them with any given outfit. So how do you find our matching oxfords?

Yes we are a big fan of Casio watches. Our getup wouldn't be complete without one. Fashionably trendy, and technically functional. I'm wearing my Gold Casio Vintage series watch, and he's wearing a yellow Tough Solar G Shock.

Another His and Hers Outfit, another exploration of fashion and style with The Tattoography.
Hope you guys like it. :)
